Our Science Bowl A team consisting of :
Sidney Buchbinder
Channing Huang
Angela Zhou
Bryan Wang
Kevin Zhou
were victorious at Princeton on Saturday, winning the Regionals and beating 32 excellent teams and will be competing in the National Science Bowl competition in Washington DC in late April.

HTHS freshman Annie Shi has been named a 2011 Golden Key Recipient in the 2011 Scholastic, Inc. Art and Writing Contest! Annie's short story will now be forwarded for National judging. Since 1923, the Awards have recognized some of America’s most celebrated writers while they were teenagers, including: Truman Capote, Bernard Malamud, Joyce Maynard, Sherley Anne Williams, Joyce Carol Oates, and Sylvia Plath.

Congratulations to Janie Gu, Class of 2011. She has recently been named as a Semi-Finalist in the prestigious Intel Science Talent Search. The Intel STS recognizes 300 students and their schools as Semifinalists each year - pulling from 1,744 applicants in 2011 - to compete for $1.25 million in awards. From that select pool, 40 Finalists are then invited to Washington, DC in March to participate in final judging, display their work to the public, meet with notable scientists, and compete for the top award of $100,000.
