In addition, she helps Mr. Simon (the principal) whenever help is needed. Susan says her main responsibility is working with Guidance. While being a secretary can get stressful, it can also be quite enjoyable. Mrs. Ferullo enjoys interacting with the students because they often make her laugh. She has worked at 3 different schools, but High Tech is her favorite. Mrs. Ferullo says "teachers and students are a community...and we all try to work together. We may have differences, but we respect each others' differences, and that is what counts." Susan has been serving at High Tech for 11 years.

Many people expect the mention of a certificate or award of any sort when told of a life accomplishment, but this is not the case with Mrs. Ferullo. Her life accomplishment is her family. She is proud of how she raised her children and is thankful for her marriage.
