Biography:
Mrs. Finley has "a genuine interest in health and wellness as well as traditional and alternative medicine." Since 1992, she has been the school nurse at HTHS. Prior to High Tech, she was employed as a staff nurse at Centrastate Medical Center and other hospitals in northern New Jersey. Mrs. Finley earned a BSN from William Paterson College and a MS in Health Science from Jersey City University. She is currently an active member of the Monmouth County School Nurses Association.
Mrs. Finley teaches both freshman and sophomore health classes at High Tech. She had the opportunity to work on a curriculum for an independent online health class, which was later integrated into the sophomore course. Mrs. Finley also is involved with both the Instructional Council and Attendance Committees.
Mrs. Finley enjoys yoga, warm weather, spending time with her family, and reading novels. She has lived in New Jersey for all of her life and is married with two grown children.
