Mr. Roche is a member of the science faculty and advisor to the Experimental Research Group here at High Technology High School. He has also served for six years (1997 - 2003) as a Director for the National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science and Technology (NCSSSMST) of which HTHS is a member institution.
Mr. Roche has a B.S. in Environmental Science from Cook College (formerly the College of Agriculture & Environmental Science), Rutgers University and an M.A. in Environmental Studies from Montclair State University. Prior to coming to High Technology High School in 1993, Mr. Roche served as the chair of the science department and coordinated information technology at Manchester Township High School in Ocean County where he began teaching in 1976.
