In the first academic quiz bowl tournament of the year, the Rutgers University Scarlet Knight Invitation Tournament, our B-Team won first place, beating East Brunswick, 470 to 230, in the Championship match and qualified for the national championship tournament in Atlanta over the Memorial Day weekend. Our A-Team beat Millburn to win third place. Our C-Team was undefeated in the Novice bracket.

In the individual book awards for the highest individual scores, Steven Liu placed second in the competitive division while Alex Wu and Brian Liu placed 3rd and 4th in the Novice division.
